The book I'm reviewing today is by Jean Ure. Its called Lemonade Sky and it's about....well I don't wanna spoil it incase you do want to read it. I'll just type out what it says on the blurb(back of the book)
Ok, it says..... Ruby, Tizz and Sam are sisters. At 12, Ruby is the oldest and with all the stuff she has to worry about right now, sometimes she feels more like the mum of the family.
Their mum loves her girls to the moon and back, but she isn't always there for them. So when Ruby is left in charge, home alone, will she and her sisters be OK? And can they keep Mum's disappearance secret until she gets back?
Its a very good book about being home alone and looking after younger siblings when your mum is bipolar. Bipolar means that unless she takes special pills prescribed by the doctor she goes crazy. I would rate this book 5star. Jacqueline Wilson read this book and she must have enjoyed because on the cover it says "Funny, funky, feisty - and fantastic reads!" Jacqueline Wilson.
